A2A continues to help those who need it in our community each year.
Our focus in 2019 is on two local families, each with costly medical bills due to a health disorder. In 2018, a local family heavily involved in the community, the Taylor family, received news that their mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Our goal is to raise money for the Taylor family in order to assist in their outstanding medical bills. Secondly, we are helping the Vandermark family. In fall 2018, Jay Vandermark, a JC police officer, was told his four year old son Jackson would need a heart transplant. The surgery would be very costly and needed to be done in Manhattan. Therefore, A2A is assisting the Vandermark family with their medical costs. Hence, both families have contributed to the community for years, and we at A2A felt it was our duty to help ameliorate them from their financial hardships as well as support them through these tough times.
