ABOUT US

HELPING OUR COMMUNiTY THROUGH ATHLETICS

We are Athletes 2 Athletes (A2A), a student run, non-profit organization that was developed with the mission to help athletes and communities in need. As a group, we have a dream of making a difference in our community beyond the playing field.

In 2012, our organization was able to donate all money raised to aid two children with terminal illnesses live more comfortable lives.  In 2013, we donated to the Ronald McDonald House of New York and to Conquer Chiari in honor of a young student who was battling Chiari Malformation, and in 2014 we raised money to create an Anti-Bullying awareness program within our school district.  In 2015, the money we raised benefited two young kids in our district who were battling cancer. In 2016 we put forth our efforts to fundraise for our local Make-A-Wish chapter in order to grant wishes to terminally ill children.  2017 saw us raising money for Habitat for Humanity. Last year we were able to donate $5,000 to Traci’s Hope.  We continue to donate to various students and organizations in need throughout the year.  To date, we have raised nearly $60,000 dollars.

In the past seven years, we have achieved great success, but now we have a bigger mission: the mission to expand our cause. Our focus this year is on two families.  The Taylor family whose mother is battling breast cancer and Jackson Vandermark, a 4 year old who is awaiting a heart transplant.  We look to raise at least $10,000 to help these families.  We sincerely hope that you will be able to assist us in this effort!  We are currently looking for the following:

  1. Donations of raffle prizes to be auctioned off at our annual fundraising events

    1. Items such as gift cards, merchandise, memorabilia, or whatever you can send!
