ABOUT US

 Helping our community
through athletics

We are Athletes2Athletes (A2A), a student run, non-profit organization that was developed with the mission to help athletes and people within our community that are in need. As a group, we have a dream of making a difference in our community beyond the playing field.

Over the past eleven years we have had the privilege of donating to so many amazing charities, organizations and community members.  In addition to the Ronald McDonald House of New York, Make-A-Wish and Habitat for Humanity, we have helped dozens of local families and have helped sponsor teams, events and students in various ways. To date, we have donated nearly $70,000 dollars. As the pandemic affected the last few years, 2024 celebrates A2A’s 11th year anniversary.  We will be holding our annual Staff Basketball game on February 29th in the Johnson City High School gymnasium, pitting our High School Staff vs. K8 staff.

In the past years, we have achieved great success, but now we have a bigger mission: the mission to expand our cause. This year, A2A has grown with its first chapter starting at Maine Endwell High School.  In addition, our focus this year is raising money for GiGi's Playhouse Southern Tier and team HopeFull.  We sincerely hope that you will be able to assist us in this effort!  We are currently looking for the following:

  • Donations of raffle prizes to be auctioned off at our annual fundraising events (Items such as gift cards, merchandise, memorabilia, or whatever you can send!)

  • Sponsorship Donation

Your generosity will make a difference in our community by allowing us to continue in our work.  For more information, please visit our website at www.jca2a.com or like us on Facebook (Athletes2Athletes).  Attached is our current Athletes2Athletes student officers and their contact information.  Feel free to contact them with any questions or concerns you might have!

Thank you in advance for your support!
